Position Summary :

Vista Medical Center is seeking a certified Ultrasound Technician to join our Imaging Services team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of diagnostic sonographic procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.

Operate ultrasound equipment effectively, maintaining image quality and equipment functionality.

Prepare and position patients for exams while providing clear communication and emotional support.

Work closely with radiologists to review images and provide technical impressions when appropriate.

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards.

Participate in departmental quality assurance and continuing education activities.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

ARDMS certification required (with at least one specialty such as OB / GYN, Abdomen, or Vascular).

Current BLS certification.

Minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and image quality.
