Job Description

An Emergency Medicine Physician provides immediate medical care and stabilization for patients experiencing sudden illnesses or injuries in a hospital emergency department or other urgent care settings. They assess patients, order tests, create treatment plans, and direct the emergency medical staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle diverse patient cases and perform emergency procedures.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Education : MD or DO, board-certified (EM, FP or IM)
  • Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are mandatory.
  • Licensure : Must be eligible for a Florida Medical License.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred) :

  • Years of Experience : 2 recent years Emergency Medicine experience in a hospital based ER
  • Specialized Experience : Familiarity with Epic EMR is beneficial.
  • Education : MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine ABEM ABOEM
  • Licenses : Eligible for a Florida Medical License.
  • Certifications :
  • ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS (All Required).
  • Personality Factors : Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to patient care.
