CABS Heating & Air Conditioning in West Sacramento, CA is actively seeking a full-time Lead HVAC Installer to maintain and install heating and air conditioning systems.

Our Lead HVAC Installers typically work 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays . This position comes with a competitive wage of $31 - $45 per hour , depending on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR LEAD HVAC INSTALLER :

• Supervises and delegates installation employees, which includes assisting in setting work priorities, training employees, evaluating performance, and supervising work assignments to ensure effective production
• Evaluates work load and schedules installation work in a way that best utilizes manpower
• Interfaces with homeowners and building inspectors to identify residential HVAC installation needs and arrange an installation date
• Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered for scheduled jobs
• Drives to job sites to ensure that employees are performing as scheduled
• Instructs crews on the proper use of materials and quality workmanship
• Stays in touch with installation crews to assist with unexpected needs
• Ensures that jobs are permitted, as appropriate
• Coordinates and meets inspectors on inspections
• May cut, build, and install ductwork and / or furnaces, as needed
• Checks to ensure that each residential HVAC installation job is complete
• Ensures that appropriate job documentation and / or payments are returned to the office
• Resolves customer issues and problems encountered by installation personnel
• Prepares required paperwork to include production times, vehicles, material usage, etc
• Evaluates staff to determine training requirements
• Can provide both classroom and on-the-job training and support to employees

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR LEAD HVAC INSTALLER

• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Experience leading a team of HVAC installers
• EPA certification
• Knowledge about Microsoft Excel and Word
• Familiarity with the use of smartphones, email, and Microsoft Outlook

NATE certification would be a plus. Can you effectively lead a team? Are you willing to continually improve your knowledge through study and training?
