About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years in ICU

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS required

Must-Have :

Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Epic experience required

Mandatory to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 winter holidays

Must adhere to float requirements

Candidates must float within their scope of practice

Description :

Cross posting for a float pool position.

Floating to various ICU and intermediate care units.

Duties include providing care in medical, thoracic, cardiovascular, and surgical trauma ICUs.

Responsibilities also include assessing patients who are ED boarders.

Candidates will work nights and be offered either 36 or 48 hours per week.

Familiarity with ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, and monitoring is necessary.

Candidates should be skilled in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.

Experience with procedural sedation is preferred.

Supporting services will include IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, and Social Services.

Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential.

Daily census includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.

The role will involve working in a fast-paced, critical care environment.

Candidates must be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

All certifications and licenses should be verified prior to submission.
