Senior Field Engineer

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves executing software front-ends (GUI or command line) in a field warehouse setting, troubleshooting software execution issues in real-time, and collaborating with a broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis or potential improvements. The ideal candidate will manage the quality of execution in real-time and deploy arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Execute software front-ends (GUI or command line) in a field warehouse setting.
• Troubleshoot software execution issues in real-time.
• Collaborate with the broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis or potential improvements.
• Manage the quality of execution in real-time.
• Deploy arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings.
• Qualifications :
• Proven experience in executing software front-ends in a field warehouse setting.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for real-time software execution issues.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a software engineering team.
• Experience in managing the quality of execution in real-time.
• Expertise in deploying arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Familiarity with any of the following ecosystems : Optitrack, Manus / StretchSense / Rokoko, AR / VR headsets, Zed cameras
• Basic Python scripting ability
• Experience with AWS CLI and basic cloud service

Job Type : Contract

Pay : $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
