Rodgers has an opportunity for a full-time Senior Superintendent in Charleston, SC.
Qualifications / Experience :
- 7 to 10 years of experience as the lead team member preferred
- Has experience in establishing building layout and control
- Proficient in use of iOS devices and applications for blueprint navigation and review
- Proficient in document change and RFI management
- Ability to maintain a high level of quality throughout
- Adapts well to changes in work environment
- Monitors and addresses production through various trades
- Strong focus on conflict resolution
- Healthcare experience
Responsibilities / Essential Functions :
Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project workAssist with the development and communication of the project plan to include the project schedule, site logistics, safety and quality programsCoordinate the work of multiple subcontractors and lead subcontractor coordination meetings on a regular basisConduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-insMaintain daily reports using 360 FieldAssure all work is installed in accordance with the con-tract documentsAssist in resolving construction issues to maintain productivity of subcontractorsExperience working in occupied buildingsExperience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost controlStrong leadership skills, ability to mentor and train othersCapable of producing and updating detailed schedulesStrong communication skills, ability to run meetings and coordinate with Owners and DesignersExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needsExcellent organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentAbility to collaborate on a daily basis with the project teamOSHA 30-hour trainedPerform additional assignments as necessary per supervisor’s directionThe above description covers the principal duties and responsibilities of the job.
