Investment Funds Associate

Our client is currently seeking a talented Investment Funds Associate to join their team in Chicago. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer to work on sophisticated investment funds matters and further develop their legal career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of investment funds matters, including fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft and review fund documentation, including private placement memoranda, limited partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with the negotiation of investment agreements and transactions.
• Stay informed of developments in investment funds law and regulations to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to address complex legal issues and achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications :

• Admission to the bar in Chicago with a JD from an accredited law school.
• Prior experience in investment funds law, gained through coursework, internships, or legal practice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
