A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a  Travel Surgical Tech First Assistant.

Role : Travel Surgical Tech First  Assistant

Position type : Full- time Contract

Duration :  13 Weeks contract assignment

Location : Waco, TX

As a  Travel Surgical Tech First Assistant, your responsibilities :

• Assist surgeons during complex surgical procedures by providing direct support such as retracting, suturing, cauterizing, and dressing wounds.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field in the operating room, ensuring all instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to update and manage surgeon preference cards and coordinate specialty equipment needs.
• Support patient care by assisting with positioning, prepping, and draping, and by handling surgical specimens according to protocol.
• Mentor and precept new staff, and stay current with surgical techniques and equipment through ongoing education and training.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS :

Weekly Gross ($2800) = Stipend ($1200) + Pay ($1600)
