Job Title : ElectricianJob Description

This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of the plant’s industrial electrical equipment. The electrician will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC, VFDs, AC-DC Drives, and relay logic control systems.
• Perform control panel troubleshooting and wiring.
• Instruct co-workers on PLC / VFD / AC-DC Drive logic.
• Use a volt meter; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors, and AC-DC systems; troubleshoot faulty electric circuits.
• Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuild, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.
• Perform and recommend alterations to preventive maintenance as more data is collected.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist all departments with breakdowns.
• Follow all safety requirements of this position.
• Perform daily maintenance sheets on all plant equipment as per worksheet.
• Scope may vary based on the size and complexity of the plant and equipment.
• Support CAPEX projects and activities as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Elyria, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 / hr.
