Job Summary :

Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.

May be multi-credentialed in sonography. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Assists with amnio procedure biopsies.

Processes and files films as needed

Qualifications

Education

Required : Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography

Preferred : Associate degree

Experience

Preferred : 1-3 years

Certifications

Required : Must be registered with ARDMS or ARRT within 24 months of graduation (12 months of hire). BLS certified.

Pay Range : $46.50 - $62.51

Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
