Job description

Austin Rent Fence and Restrooms specializes in providing temporary fencing services, portable restroom rentals, silt fencing, and erosion control solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients in various industries.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative preferably with previous experience in the temporary fencing and portable restroom rental industry. The ideal candidate will be a hunter, responsible for driving new business development, generating leads, and expanding our client base through effective outbound sales strategies. Must have a growth mindset and want to be part of a rapidly growing organization! Your metrics will be directly tied to closing new business, establishing new strategic partnerships, and overall top line revenue growth across all of our business units.

Key Responsibilities :

Networking and Membership Engagement : Actively participate in membership organizations and industry associations to enhance professional connections and promote the company’s services.

Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong business relationships with home builders, commercial contractors, large general contractors, special event coordinators, project managers, and superintendents.

Brand Ambassadorship : Serve as a brand ambassador for the company, representing its values and services at networking events, social outings, and industry functions.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the temporary fencing and restroom rental market.
  • Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, and attending industry events to connect with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and progress towards targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Be a team player; we’re a small staff so we back each other up if someone takes time off or needs support. This is not a role for a lone wolf.

Qualifications :

Proven experience in sales or business development within the temporary fencing, portable restroom, or related industry.

Strong self-motivation and a drive to achieve results.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.

Bonus if :

Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
