Production Technician III-25001998 Description Production Tech III Location : Freeport, TX The Helium Bulk Production Technician III is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a helium processing, purification, and distribution site. The Helium Bulk Production Technician III must be proficient in plant operations to achieve key measurables including safety, production, quality, and continuous improvement. The Helium Bulk Production Technician III must maintain process awareness and communication with feedstock provider in OSHA PSM facility, while producing refined product timely and to customer specifications. Qualifications Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent is required Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record 5+ years experience in an industrial plant environment required 5+ years Operations / Distribution / Quality experience Proficient at Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Working knowledge of Hazardous Work Permits, Lock out Tag out, and Management of Change OSHA Process Safety Management experience desired Quality management experience in an environment with a focus on process control and continuous improvement, preferably in the ISO framework Communication and Collaboration skills - Both verbally and in writing with managers, colleagues, and customers Ability to work 12hr day shifts (4-3,3-4), which include weekends, and holidays Rotating On-Call responsibility (Nights) Ability to travel (10%) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.The employee frequently is required to travel and visit Plants.The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
