Cardiac Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Kalamazoo, MI 49048 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 - End : 2 / 9 / 2026) Unit : Cardiac Short Stay / Cardiac Telemetry (46 beds) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (18 : 00 - 06 : 00); every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $1890 - $1940 Holiday Requirement : Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Floating : As needed within the hospital or to affiliate healthcare facilities Charting System : Cerner Powerchart Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state (pending accepted with application within 24 hours of offer) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (Cardiac Telemetry, cardiac nursing, or telemetry nursing preferred; first-time travel nurses welcome) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (pending accepted with commitment to obtain prior to start) Experience with Cerner charting system required Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (no local candidates for this Michigan travel nurse job) COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules Cardiac Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical needs, including pre- and post-cardiac cath procedures, trauma, and surgical recovery Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage cardiac drips (Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix), and respond to rapid response / code situations Perform and manage central lines, chest tubes, wound care, and advanced nursing interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Social Services Float to similar nursing units as needed based on census and patient acuity Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Powerchart Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced healthcare environment Join our healthcare team in Kalamazoo, Michigan—apply now for this Cardiac Telemetry RN travel nursing job and take the next step in your nursing career!
