Position Purpose

The Email Marketing Lead is responsible for building and leading a modern, data-driven email marketing function focused on growth, retention, and customer lifetime value. This role will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of email campaigns across the full customer lifecycle-spanning acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and reactivation.

This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Creative, Analytics, Data Science, and Customer Service to create impactful communications that support brand, business, and customer objectives. The Email Marketing Lead will also own the roadmap for the email martech stack and champion best practices around audience segmentation, deliverability, testing, and performance measurement.

Position Responsibilities

Lifecycle Strategy & Execution

• Design and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy across all lifecycle stages (acquisitions, nurture, welcome, onboarding, upsell, retention, reactivation, winback, etc.).
• Translate segment-specific goals into campaign strategies that drive engagement and action.
• Define key moments to influence and reinforce customer behavior across multiple journeys.
• Collaborate with Creative and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and visual alignment with brand and product positioning.

Compensation

Working Arrangements :

This is a hybrid role expected to work in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. This person can sit out of our Rockville headquarters. You will be able to work remotely on Wednesday.
