Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of E-commerce to lead our marketplace online stores. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales growth in digital channels, a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

As the Director of E-commerce, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to achieve the sales goal.

Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales, profitability, and market share in the marketplaces.

Manage and oversee the operation of the online marketplace e-commerce sites. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, supply chain, and oversea teams, to ensure a seamless and effective e-commerce operation.

Analyze market trends and customer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Lead and mentor the team, setting clear objectives and KPIs, and providing the guidance and support needed to achieve them.

Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics, using data to drive decisions and optimize performance.

Stay updated on new technologies and e-commerce trends, adapting strategies as necessary to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online customer acquisition channels.

Proven track record of achieving sales growth and meeting or exceeding targets in an e-commerce environment.

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a history of successfully leading cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Experience in the home furnishing industry is a plus
