Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, AART, CT, and BLS certifications to work weekend shifts on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a hospital imaging / CT department
  • Work schedule is Friday to Sunday from 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 00 AM
  • Weekend shifts are required
  • Role involves multimodality procedures with at least 25% focus in an advanced discipline such as CT
  • Experience with Siemens CT equipment is preferred
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Responsibilities include performing high quality multimodality procedures and maintaining production and quality standards
  • Duties include radiation dose monitoring, proper use of iSTAT point of care testing, and adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
  • Must maintain equipment, ensure departmental safety, and assist in training new staff as needed
  • Professionalism, clear communication with patients, and customer service are essential
  • Grey scrubs are required
  • Returning employees are subject to eligibility verification

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience
  • AART, CT, and BLS certifications required
  • Active TX license required if applicable
  • Must provide two professional references for consideration
  • Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (August–November); no exemptions granted
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
