Pediatric Dentist

Duties

• Provide comprehensive care for dental / oral conditions.
• Conduct routine dental examinations and provide treatment, and preventive care
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to develop treatment plans
• Prescribe medications for treatment of conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses

Pay : $221,100.00 - $331,700.00 per year

Work Location : In person

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school or American Dental Association

Valid state dental license in good standing

Proficient in anatomy knowledge related to oral health

Familiarity with dental office systems, including Dentrix or similar software

Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures

Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics

Ability to take and interpret vital signs accurately

Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system is a plus

BLS certification, PALS certification

Valid Drivers license
