Job descriptionSpecialty : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location : Youngstown, OH (2240 Hubbard Rd, 44505) Setting : Correctional Facility Contract Length : 8 weeks (11 / 18 / 2025 – 01 / 10 / 2026) Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts, typically every other weekend Hours / Week : 36 guaranteed Schedule Notes : Must have open availability per CoreCivic Scheduling Policy Start Day : Tuesday Fingerprinting : Completed on first day U.S. Citizenship & SSN required for facility clearance License : Active Ohio LPN License (or compact state eligible) Education : Graduate of an accredited LPN program Certifications : Valid driver’s license Experience : Correctional or acute care experience preferred Administer medications, operate pill call, and assist with sick call and exams Maintain accurate and confidential medical records Monitor and report inmate health conditions and behaviors Assist with emergency procedures and inventory control Maintain safety and sanitation standards within the medical unit Support compliance with NCCHC / ACA accreditation standards Vision benefits License and certification reimbursement Continuing Education Medical benefits Wellness and fitness programs Dental benefits Guaranteed Hours Mileage reimbursement Referral bonus Bereavement Holiday Pay Sick pay Retention bonus
