Senior - Environmental Remediation Engineer

Overview

Geosyntec Consultants, an earth science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer to join our growing Environmental Practice in our Seattle, Bellingham, Wenatchee, Yakima, or Bainbridge Island, WA office. Our Environmental Practice tackles challenges on a variety of complex environmental projects throughout the Pacific Northwest including environmental site assessments, remedial investigations / feasibility studies, property cleanup and urban redevelopments, remedial design engineering, cost recovery / allocation / mediation support, and landfill system monitoring and optimization. In this role, you can expect an abundance of variety in your work. Consistent with our Sell-Manage-Do model, you will have the opportunity to lead in the delivery of technical project work, promote strategic project management and mentorship, as well as assist in key sales and business development efforts. As a Senior Environmental Remediation Engineer, your technical project work will primarily focus on environmental investigation and remediation projects where you will lead the development and implementation of environmental due diligence, remedial investigations, and cleanup actions on known or suspected contaminated sites. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, environmental engineers, and scientists through key project management and technical delivery initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to actively enhance the environmental consulting strategies and solutions for our clients, who include attorneys, landowners, public agencies, engineers, and contractors. You will take an active role in your own professional growth as well as the growth of the Environmental Practice through effective project delivery, project management and client development, while contributing to the overall success of Geosyntec.
