Shift : Mids, 5x8hr shifts (9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM or 11 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM), call required

Requirements :

Minimum 2+ years of OR RN experience

Must have experience circulating and scrubbing surgical cases including : general, vascular, cardiac, urology, robotic, open heart, GYN, plastics, ortho, thoracic, GI

Experience with DaVinci XI for robotic surgery preferred

Scope includes Surgical Services and GI

Job Summary :

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the OR. As part of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs, and other staff to provide safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include ensuring availability of supplies, maintaining timeliness of cases, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical cases, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
