Director Of Regulatory Reporting
The Director of Regulatory Reporting will oversee the production and filing of complex regulatory reports with various bank regulatory bodies including the Federal Reserve and FDIC. This individual will work closely with the broader finance organization and IT partners in developing strategic and tactical reporting solutions to ensure that reports are prepared in accordance with the reporting requirements.
Essential duties and responsibilities include :
- Overseeing the accurate and timely preparation, review, production and distribution of external corporate and bank regulatory financial reports.
- Maintaining a strong control environment and providing timely information to various testing groups.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of the various regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring processes and interpretations are in compliance.
- Maintaining and reviewing policies and procedures for compliance with regulations and corporate policies and standards.
- Communicating with internal and external auditors and examiners related to regulatory reporting matters.
- Providing strategic advice to the Director of Financial Reporting, Deputy Corporate Controller and other senior leaders on regulatory reporting matters.
- Leading the development of implementation strategies for complex and ever-changing regulatory reporting requirements.
- Pioneering automation opportunities to create efficiencies and reduce manual processes.
- Monitoring developments both internal and external that may impact regulatory reporting.
- Leading ad hoc projects across the regulatory reporting team.
- Providing leadership, talent development, and mentoring for team members.
