The ChiefPlatform Architect will own the end-to-end architecture of our client’splatform; devising both short- and long-term architectural strategies toachieve their vision.
You will work closely with product leadership and theexecutive team to ensure that product strategy and execution are aligned withthe overall architecture plan.
This role will lead a small team of architectsin forming the architecture decisions and partner with the engineering team onimplementation.
Coming from a strong technical background is a must and beingable to drive the technical direction of the platform as they evolve theproduct around the use cases that they are solving for.
Responsibilities :
Own, define, communicate, anddrive our technical vision, architectural strategy for our clients Platform andfull stack capabilities.
Devise the technical strategyto support very high scale and evolve the product to support data science, andML / AI use cases.
Support and advise executiveleadership regarding technical and architectural feasibility, implications,readiness, security and compliance.
Provide key inputs intotechnology evaluation and technology planning activities.
Communicate the architectureto the engineering and product teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Mentor and train other teammember on design techniques, systems architecture and coding standards.
Drive innovations thatimprove the scalability, availability, resiliency, and performances of servicesand products.
Stay on the cutting edge ofemerging technology, forging key relationships with peers.
Provide thought leadershipand represent our client at industry and technology conferences.
Requirements :
15+ years’ experiencedesigning and building highly scalable, mission-critical distributed softwaresystems.
Significant experience withAWS, Services-Architecture and web-scale design patterns.
Demonstrated ability to drivearchitectural vision for a company or highly scalable line of products.
Proven track-record ofsuccess developing product strategy within a start-up environment.
Hands on experience inbuilding Platform Architecture and Microservices / Containerizationtechnologies.
Proficient in Python and webscale technologies.
Experience with ETL, dataintegration, data pipelines and data lakes.
Extremely highlearn-and-curious character traits who excels at achievement.
Excellent problem solving,collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability and desire fortransparent communication and influence at the executive level.
Have an entrepreneurialspirit and bring ideas to the table.
A proven track record ofinfluencing organizational change from an enterprise architecture perspectiveover a sustained period without steamrolling or frustration.
