Chemours is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Advanced Performance Materials team in Deepwater, NJ! This position will report directly to the Plant Manager of our Chambers Works and Parlin sites. The Operations Manager position will provide strategic and operational guidance for the safe and cost-effective operation of our Power and Utilities, Secure Environmental Treatment (SET), and Parlin manufacturing facilities (2 locations Deepwater and Parlin, NJ). The role has multiple direct exempt reports, including Production Leaders and Production Supervisors for 24x7 operating facilities. This role will also be accountable for the non-exempt operators and other support roles for the manufacturing area.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Set expectations and hold people accountable for Values and Behaviors compliance in EHS, PSM, and Ethics and is expected to be a role model for appropriate behavior.
• Accountable for translating the business strategy into actionable operations and improvement plans, including establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
• Provide input to the 3-5-year site strategic plan which supports the business and corporate strategy.
• Communicate and implement business objectives, priorities, and progress.
• Develop and implement resource plans for effective performance, positive employee relations and work environment.
• Provide leadership for improvement programs and asset productivity best practices across the area with the use of continuous improvement methodologies such as Agile, Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies.
• Develop and implement plans to meet the area production and cost commitments, achieve cost of manufacture, fixed and variable cost productivity.
• Manages processes to achieve excellence in Quality and Customer Service expectations.
• Drive environmental performance and compliance focusing on equipment / process reliability.
• Drive cost performance improvements.

Pay Range (in local currency) : $120,064.00 - $187,600.00 Chemours Level : 27 Annual Bonus Target : 14%
