Must have strong endovascular experience
Minimum requirements :
years of experience as a surgical tech
Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience required)
BLS (AHA) certification
Must have Endovascular experience with experience in general and ortho preferred
Summary and purpose of position
- The Surgical Technologist and / or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures;
- delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon;
assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively.
Candidate must have experience scrubbing a variety of cases including endovascular, general and ortho.
Other service lines include GYN, General, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma.
