What You’ll Do
- Lead mechanical system design for advanced agricultural and automation platforms.
- Turn ideas into reality through 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion 360 — your choice).
- Integrate hydraulics, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems with sensors and controls.
- Partner with electrical and software engineers to build fully integrated systems.
- Prototype, test, and iterate — you’ll see your designs operating in the field.
- Collaborate with vendors to optimize fabrication, materials, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs meet safety and performance standards (ASABE, OSHA, CE).

Requirements
What You Bring
B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering.5+ years of experience in mechanical system design, automation, or robotics.Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and motion control.Clear communication and collaboration skills — you know how to lead design reviews and cross-functional projects.Bonus points for : MATLAB / Python modeling, agricultural or mobile-equipment experience, or exposure to perception systems (cameras, 3D sensors)Benefits

B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Robotics Engineering. - 5–10+ years of experience in mechanical system design, automation, or robotics. - Proven track record of delivering prototype-to-production machinery. - Expert proficiency in 3D CAD (Onshape, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360). - Deep understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. - Experience with motion control systems, PLC integration, and industrial sensors. - Strong analytical skills including FEA, CFD, and control theory fundamentals. - Excellent communication and design review presentation skills. - Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with MATLAB / Simulink or Python for modeling (preferred). - Knowledge of agricultural or mobile equipment design a plus.
