Teller

We are currently searching for an experienced, motivated and dependable individual for our Lakewood Office located at 17526 Madison Avenue.

• Greets and interacts with members and guests in a professional, positive manner.
• Supports branch and OHecu goals for growth and member service.
• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount and examines checks for endorsements. Follows procedures for verifying identity and identifying fraudulent transactions / documents.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and member balances.
• Enters member transactions into computer and issues computer generated receipts.
• Places holds on deposits according to established procedures. Follows government regulations and security guidelines.
• Balances currency, coin and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Immediately reports any discrepancies to the Branch Manager
• Explains, promotes or sells products or services. Refers members to the MSR's for additional information on OHecu products and services.

Qualified candidates will have a successful work history in a customer service position with cash handling / transaction responsibility - preferably in a financial services environment .

A good record of attendance and punctuality are required. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Must have a strong working knowledge of computers - experience with financial services systems preferred. Exceptional interpersonal skills

This is full-time position (approx. 37 hours per week). Tuesday through Thursday 8 : 45am to 4 : 30pm. Friday 8 : 45am to 6 : 00pm. Saturday 8 : 15am to 1 : 00pm.

May be required to travel to our Oberlin office (on occasion) and therefore must have reliable transportation.
