We are seeking a Student Life & Campus Events Manager to enhance the student experience and foster a vibrant, engaged campus community.
The Role
The Student Life & Campus Events Manager is responsible for leading, planning, and executing co-curricular and extra-curricular initiatives that enrich the student experience at Gnomon. This role ensures all activities align with the institution’s mission, policies, and standards while overseeing student organizations, events, and programs. The manager provides strategic direction and collaborates across departments to support on-campus and off-campus events, fostering engagement and ensuring smooth logistics. In this leadership capacity, the manager plays a key role in building a vibrant campus community and supporting student success throughout their time at Gnomon, with core strengths in student engagement and event management.

Essential Functions, but not limited to the following :
Student Engagement & Events
- Plan and manage all aspects of student events, both on and off campus, including Welcome Mixers, Finals Events, Industry Panels, field trips, off-campus outings, New Student Orientations, and Graduation. Responsibilities include pre-event communications, invitations / RSVP management, setup, day-of coordination, and post-event breakdown.
- Ensure all events align with Gnomon’s mission and co-curricular model, emphasizing professional development, community engagement, wellbeing, and educational opportunities.
- Oversee student volunteers for institutional events, including Open Houses and Industry events.
- Represent Student Affairs at school events, open houses, and promotional activities.
Student Wellness & Resources
Promote wellness initiatives through student activities.Manage TimelyCare platform users, including adding and removing user accounts for withdrawals and graduates, and supporting student access to wellness resources.Collaborate with internal departments to maintain and update current Student Affairs publications and resources.Leadership & Student Development
Manage Federal Work-Study students, including scheduling, training, and supervision.Advise and support the Student Council, fostering student leadership and engagement.Support student organizations by coordinating club activities, event approvals, and promotion.Student Conduct & Compliance
Assist with student conduct processes as needed, including serving on conduct committees, attending or documenting intake meetings, and maintaining accurate case documentation and records.Maintain confidentiality and integrity while adhering to legal, ethical, and institutional guidelines.Communication & Institutional Alignment
Serve as a key contact for student inquiries and campus resources.Manage communication channels to keep students informed about events and opportunities.Uphold student privacy and confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and institutional policies.Education / Experience :
Bachelor’s degree required.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing student life, events, or related activities.Experience in a school or university setting is essential.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.Experience or background in entertainment, gaming, or art fields is highly desirable.Competencies :
