Title - Failure Analysis Engineer
Client - Apple
Onsite in Cupertino Monday - Friday.
- Need 2X engineers to be be flexible to work swing shift. (12-9PM or 3-11PM)
- No contract to contract resources
- Execute Failure Analysis tasks assigned by FA Lead or Apple Lead
- Prepare clear and concise test and failure summary keynotes to report data to cross-functional teams - to be reviewed by FA Lead before publishing
- Utilize Failure Analysis analytical techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-Ray, SEM / EDS, FTIR, Electrical testing, LIT, TDR, FLIR, etc)
- Maintain and follow SOPs for executing material analysis of projects with low complexity
- Seek feedback on analysis results from FA Lead
- Learn new methodology and techniques to complete assigned tasks as needed
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to ensure deadlines are met
- Practices safe lab practices, secure sample handling and communicates issues in timely manner to FA Lead and Apple Lead
Skills
Minimum Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or an equivalent field)Experience in Failure analysis techniques, such as - Optical Microscopy, X-Ray, SEM / EDS, FTIR, IV curve tracing, LIT, TDR, etc.Experience in sample handling and preparationKnowledge of safe work practices in a lab environmentStrong attention to detail for handling delicate lab samplesStrong organization skills to keep samples sorted and cataloguedExcellent analytical and problem solving skills, be able to speak based on data analysis and statistics and strong attention to detailDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
