6 Smythe is a 22-bed unit to care for Orthopedic, Trauma and General Surgery patients. All rooms are private with walk-in bathrooms and showers and 17 of the rooms have telemetry capability. Common diagnoses include : Total joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder), spine surgery, general surgery, traumatic fractures, urology procedure, ENT and plastic surgery. Education Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program

License & Certification Requirements

An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN preferred

Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA / PCNA / NAII is preferred
