Product Manager
StackHawk helps software developers find and fix security vulnerabilities before they deploy code to production. Every modern software development organization has shifted from quarterly releases to daily or hourly releases, incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI / CD). In the modern world of FinTech, HealthTech, cloud analytics and AI platforms, customers are entrusting their most critical data to software providers. Periodic manual security testing by an external team is simply too risky. Because of this, modern software development organizations are extending CI / CD to encompass Continuous Application and API Security Testing. This way, security can "shift left," meaning vulnerabilities can be detected while the developer is actively working on the code.
StackHawk leads the market in developer first API security testing. Application and API security is an exciting market, where more than 43% of global decision makers are looking to implement dynamic application security testing during software development, which represents a massive opportunity for StackHawk. StackHawk is building out a team of leaders and team members that will capitalize on market pull, and enable growth-phase scale of the business.
StackHawk is on a mission to empower AppSec and development teams to proactively discover and fix vulnerabilities in APIs and applications before code reaches production. Reporting to the VP of Product & Design, you'll be instrumental in bringing our product vision to life through shipped features that immediately impact our customers.
This isn't your typical PM role where you're stuck managing existing roadmaps or shipping incremental updates. You'll have a significant impact across our productfrom delivering key feature improvements and customer-requested capabilities to driving execution on ambitious new initiatives, including AI-powered security solutions that represent the future of application security testing.
You'll lead customer discovery, validate product direction, and work cross-functionally to ship solutions that matter. You'll leverage AI tools to drive innovation within your PM function while helping build and deliver AI-first security capabilities for our customers. You'll have direct influence on our product strategy and customer successfrom conducting discovery calls with enterprise prospects to partnering with engineering to deliver features that solve real problems.
This role includes regular collaboration at our downtown Denver headquarters (our Product Development team meets in person on Wednesdays), travel to customer locations for onsite discovery sessions, and attending industry conferences to connect with AppSec professionals, showcase our platform, and engage with the broader security community.
If you're energized by high-impact product development, love talking to customers, and want to drive meaningful change at a growing companyespecially in the intersection of AI and securitythis role is for you.
