Position Summary : To ensure the cleanliness of the public washrooms, corridors, lobby, and hotel offices.

Essential Functions :

• Maintains supply levels in the public areas, i.e. pads and pencils, toilet paper, and Kleenex.
• Maintains and cleans all public washrooms, checking twice each hour.
• Makes routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness. Empties ash urns and stamps with logo.
• Dusts all tables, lamps, and ledges in all public areas and corridors.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all windows, glass, and doors in public areas.
• Checks guest elevators, cleans carpets, and polishes brass as necessary. Maintains elevator tracks.
• Performs cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, moping, and collecting garbage.
• Assists guests and other staff members as needed.

Position Requirements

Minimum Knowledge : Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service, or manual areas.

Formal Education and Job-Related Experience : This position requires a minimum formal education of some high school and a minimum of less than six months job-related experience.

License, Registration, and / or Certification Required : Valid driver's license.

External and Internal Personal Contact :

Communications Daily : Verbal and Written

Monthly : Participating in meetings

Teamwork and Collaboration : This job is part of a formal work team within the department.
