Job description

The Excalibur Group is currently seeking a Senior  Planner for a local contract in Washington, DC.

  • Will be subject to a background check prior to employment.
  • DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITES Serve as a senior expert, managing and performing advanced analysis to validate, refine, or improve operational plans and procedures.

Facilitate organizational dissemination of findings and recommendations using appropriate techniques to support decision-making.

Lead and guide group briefings and discussions to foster collaboration and drive the development of plans and strategic decisions.

Debrief stakeholders on the outcomes of collaborative efforts, ensuring lessons learned and actionable insights are clearly communicated.

REQUIREMENTS Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Administration, or related field.

    • If you do not have a Bachelor's, the following may be substituted :

  • High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant experience planning emergency management, or operational coordination experience.
