Locum Tenens Opportunity : Hematology / Oncology Physician Near Schenectady, NY (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a Hematology / Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity located near Schenectady, NY . This position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. 4 full-time Radiation Oncologists on staff

Hematology (50%), Oncology (50%) in both outpatient and inpatient settings

• Documentation System / EMR

Epic

Responsibilities :

• Inpatient & Outpatient Coverage

Provide comprehensive care in both settings, managing a mix of hematology and oncology cases.

• Weekend Coverage

Participate in a 1 : 5 weekend rotation.

• Clinical Duties

Manage patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in both hematology and oncology.

Requirements :

• Board Certification

Required in Medical Oncology or Hematology / Oncology.

• Certifications

ACLS certification is required.

• State License

An active New York state medical license is required.

• Credentialing Timeframe

Estimated at 1 month.

• Reimbursement

The facility will cover flight, hotel, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate.
