As a Water Engineer with Jacobs, you will work alongside Project Management and Design Leads in the planning, designing, and commissioning of projects from planning and / or design through construction or finalization. Working within a multi-disciplinary team you will be challenged to grow and learn in your everyday tasks, which, depending on your focus / specialty, could consist of..
hydraulic modeling
water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects
water treatment, collection and distribution projects
groundwater investigations, drilling, and well installation
assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications
performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies
data collection, processing, and analysis to support planning and design activities
supporting construction activities related to your designs to ensure proper construction
providing on-site troubleshooting based on field conditions to including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities
Qualifications
Courses, projects or internship experience indicating an interest in Water / Wastewater, Water Quality, Water Treatment or Water Resources
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience :
Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm
Relevant coursework or projects
EIT or on track to obtain
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
