Westat is seeking Field Room Clerks to support a national study. This role involves various administrative tasks, including managing hire packets, handling incoming mail, and processing forms, all while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position is to work 5 days per week on-site at our office location in Gaithersburg, Maryland, and requires individuals who are dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare and mail out over 2,500 hire packets for field staff.
• Open incoming mail and distribute accordingly.
• Receipt hire forms in the system.
• Follow up on missing and incomplete hire forms.
• Answer phone calls and transfer calls to appropriate extensions.
• File documents.
• Review electronic timesheets.
• Process electronic expense forms.
• Mail out FBI clearance letters.
• Mail out evaluations at the end of the project.
• Perform data entry and quality control with web-based data management system.
