Role Overview The Planner II is responsible for owning customer accounts, leading customer-facing engagements, and applying advanced analytical and planning skills to deliver results.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing consulting role where you will use our BaxterPredict platform to optimize supply chain performance and automate global supply chain networks. You’ll serve as the account lead for multiple customers, drive process improvements, resolve escalated issues, and act as a mentor for newer planners.
Success requires strong technical aptitude, independence, professionalism in customer interactions, and the ability to balance day-to-day planning with strategic consulting initiatives. What You’ll Do Customer Account Ownership Serve as the strategic lead planner for assigned customer accounts. Prepare and lead regular customer meetings, ensuring agendas are actionable and insights are clear. Develop and deliver business reviews to senior / executive stakeholders, highlighting progress and improvement opportunities. Technical Planning & Analysis Use BaxterProphet and other planning tools to analyze demand, inventory, and service metrics. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, inventory efficiency, and SLA compliance. Configure and troubleshoot BaxterProphet settings (target stock levels, replenishment, supply orders, forecasting). Serve as an escalation point for Service Desk tickets and handle advanced tickets for assigned customers. Continuous Improvement & Projects Lead or support customer consulting projects that improve supply chain performance. Partner with customers to identify and implement ongoing improvement opportunities, using Baxter Planning’s Best Practice Scorecard to align initiatives with strategic supply chain objectives. Document and share best practices internally to strengthen the Planning Team. Collaboration & Mentorship Mentor and support team members, providing training on BaxterProphet, processes, and customer management. Partner with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align supply chain planning with broader business objectives. Share insights and contribute to cross-functional initiatives, tool rollouts, and process improvements. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related field Hands-on experience with supply chain planning software (BaxterProphet preferred; SAP, Kinaxis, Oracle, Anaplan, or similar acceptable) Strong Excel skills :
