Summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking an experienced Heavy Highway / Civil Senior Estimator to join our Southwest Region estimating team in Austin, TX. As a Senior Estimator, candidates will have the knowledge and experience to prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for all scopes of work on a typical highway project (structures including retaining walls and bridges, concrete paving, storm sewer, earthwork, etc.), including the interpretation and takeoff of project plans and specifications to complete a full estimate of the work. The Senior Estimator will have the ability to be responsible for all scopes of work for both bid-build and design-build projects for the region estimating team. The Senior Estimator will have the experience to both assist and function in many of the roles of the Chief Estimator.
