Job Summary
The Fulfillment Technician, at Southend Pharmacy, will be responsible for accurately preparing, packaging, and distributing compounded medications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. This role plays a vital part in supporting healthcare providers and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accurately dispense medication and fulfill medication orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions.
- Track and manage medication inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Ensure timely and precise medication distribution to healthcare providers.
- Monitor and replenish medication supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or GEDValid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of PharmacyMinimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillmentStrong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detailExperience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environmentPreferred Qualifications :
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applicationsFamiliarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Lifefile, PioneerRx, QS / 1, or other applicable platforms)Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environmentPhysical Requirements :
