The Director, Alumni Support Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the Naval Academy Alumni Association's comprehensive alumni support initiatives. This role entails spearheading internal career programs designed to assist alumni at various stages of their professional journey, from job preparation to successful placement. The Director is tasked with providing career search counseling, developing informational resources, and integrating cutting- edge online career transition platforms. Additionally, the position involves serving as the Naval Academy representative at the Service Academy Career Conference, coordinating with corporate hiring professionals, and overseeing the Alumni Mentoring Program. The Director also plays a strategic role in program development that supports alumni life, including health resources, spousal support, and continuing education. This multifaceted role demands a leader who is committed to the empowerment and success of the alumni community.
The Director Alumni Support Services reports to the Senior Director, Engagement and Outreach Programs . This is an exempt position.
This position is based in historic Annapolis at our current offices located next to the beautiful grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy. In 2023, the staff of the Alumni Association & Foundation moved into the new Fluegel Alumni Center , which was built on the banks of College Creek overlooking the Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis.

This position pays a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and may be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, when applicable.
