About The Position

ID : 73068288 Shift : 12H Days Monday, Wed, Thursday 7a-730p. Call every 6th weekend, Friday pm - Monday AM and 1 day per Description : Unit : MRI Tech

• Client will provide Landauer radiation badges and will supply- Department Specific Equipment : Siemens Espree, Siemens Trio, GE Architect
• Certifications : BLS, ARRT
• Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
• Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.
• Fingernail policy : Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract- How many scanners / rooms does this department have? : 3 MRI machines- Will they have to float / cover any other areas? : Helpful if person can also perform CT, will cover x-ray if working nights- Common types of imaging / studies performed & Job Duties : Adults, geriatrics, and some Peds through the ER, MRI with sedation or general anesthesia, MRI on patients with conditional pacemakers, MRI breast- Experience or 'Must have' skills : Night shift MUST have CT / X-ray experience- EMR & / or PACS : EMR : EPIC, PACS : McKesson- Department Specific Equipment : Siemens Espree, Siemens Trio, GE Architect- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : Mixed 9, 10, and 12 hour shifts- start time vary on shift, cyclic scheduling handled by supervisors- Weekend Requirements : Every 4th weekend for day shift, every other for overnights- Holiday Requirements : 2 holidays per year- Call or Standby requirement? Response time? : Weekend call : once every 6 weeks, Weeknight call : 3-4 week nights per month when fully staffed, may be more if not fully staffed- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : Approximately 3 days- Additional Notes : very fast paced departmentRadius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.Entered on : 12 / 2 / 2023 Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level : 2 Care Shift , Wed, Thursday 7a-730p.
