Accounts Payable Specialist

Join a dynamic residential property accounting team, collaborating with three other accounts payable team members. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute and grow. You will play a crucial role in processing invoices, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Responsibilities :

• Enter and code invoices accurately.
• Review and verify statements and invoices for discrepancies.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve any missing invoice issues.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to match invoices with purchase orders.
• Ensure invoice amounts align with purchase orders.
• Assist with the check run without direct responsibility for cutting checks.
• Process approximately 150 invoices weekly.
• Double-check the work performed by the purchasing department.

Work Environment :

Enjoy working in a supportive environment, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire position. Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.45 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
