Senior Risk & Controls

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Risk & Controls for a 2 month contract position with a mortgage loan corporation located in McLean, VA. This position is fully onsite. Responsibilities : The contract worker will assist the Risk & Control Manager to deliver the following : Identify and assess relevant risks in a business. Identify, develop, and document appropriate controls that mitigate risks to the acceptable level. Assist in preparation and documentation for Quarterly Risk Control Self-Assessments for relevant business areas. Assist in assessing backlog of Compliance obligations that includes completing assessments and identifying and mapping applicable controls. Assist in activities related to transition to the new GRC Tool. Requirements : 5+ years of experience with a background in Operational Risk Management and Governance. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. MS Excel skills. Good attention to detail. Ability to produce concise, detailed and insightful documents.
