Michigan Nursing Job Details Location : Battle Creek, Michigan 49017 Healthcare Setting : Medical Surgical Unit (Neurovascular, Orthopedic, Cardio / Pulmonary, GI, Urology, Mental Health, and more) Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 1 / 2025 - End : 3 / 2 / 2026) Nursing Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 or 48 hours available Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1840 - $1890 Employment Type : Travel Nurse, On-Site Orientation : Must be available for the first 8 days of contract for orientation Flu Vaccine : Required (medical exemptions accepted) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience (2 years preferred) Active Michigan Registered Nurse License BLS (AHA) certification (pending accepted with willingness to obtain) Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed Willingness to work every other weekend Comfortable collaborating with a variety of healthcare staff (RN, LPN, Techs, etc.) Professional references required RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to diverse medical-surgical populations, including ortho / neurovascular, cardio / pulmonary, GI, urology, and mental health patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and clinical support staff Float to other Med / Surg units based on facility needs (typically once per week) Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic charting Comply with hospital policies, including holiday time-off requests and scheduling requirements Participate in required orientation and annual training modules Discover rewarding Michigan nursing jobs and experience the best of Battle Creek while making a difference in patient care.
