BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Software Design Engineer in Test 1 Professional Job for an opportunity at Remote

Position Title : Software Design Engineer in Test 1

Location : Remote

Anticipated Start Date : 11 / 4 / 2025

Expected Duration : 2 Months contract

Job Type : Contract and Remote

Pay Range : $15 / hr. - $18 / hr.

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Candidate Requirements

Degrees or certifications required : Bachelor's degree, technical training certification, Associate's degree or equivalent work experience / training required.

Disqualifiers :

Candidates must be located in Redmond, WA, even though the role is fully remote. but will need to pick up their testing devices from Studio A

Best vs. Average :

Must have the ability to use, at a basic level, word processing and spreadsheet applications. Demonstrated investigative and problem-solving skills required.

Familiarity with product lifecycle preferred. Must have the ability to learn new information quickly.

The ideal resume would contain experience with testing; testing tools such as Fiddler.

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each :

1.) Minimum 1-2 years experience with testing in tools such as Fiddler

2.) Minimum 1-2 years experience with webapps and testing in web browsers

3.) Minimum 1-2 years experience with testing on Android and IOS devices.
