Responsibilities Work in a 19-bed hospital Labor & Delivery unit Care for high-acuity obstetric patients Patient ratios are 1-2 : 1 Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience is required or preferred 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week On-call required : 12 hours per 6-week period Floating required, with travelers prioritized, and potential to float to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes Expected to provide comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum Team-oriented culture where travelers are fully integrated and expected to function as core staff No block scheduling requests will be accepted Holiday coverage as needed per unit requirements Galaxy Blue and / or White scrubs required Orientation starts on Friday with remote training and onsite badge pickup All requests for time off must be submitted prior to offer and will not be accepted afterward Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required Prior travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and NRP Must have completed and passed AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring; Advanced class and EFM certification preferred Nursing degree from an accredited program or minimum 5 years of relevant experience Drivers License address must match the address on the state board of nursing Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; candidates with properties within the radius are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629238.
