As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible throughout the site, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will travel throughout the property as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Tue 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Wed 05 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Thur 11 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and by responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by carrying out established protocols and providing guidance to occupants if necessary.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • At least six months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
