Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address any concerns related to security-related matters. Maintain accurate records and logs of patrols, incidents, and other site activities as required by site protocols. Adapt to the dynamic environment typical of technology, media, and telecom settings, remaining alert to evolving site needs and potential risks. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Access control and / or badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
