Job description5+ years' experience in Mechanical Engineering. Strong foundation in mechanical design principles and analysis. Proficient in SolidWorks, GD&T, PDM systems, and FEA (ANSYS). Knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical and MATLAB is preferred.

Role Overview :
Seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support design, analysis, and problem-solving for downhole drilling and MLWD tools in the upstream oil and gas sector. The role involves investigating field / manufacturing issues, reviewing technical solutions, and implementing design improvements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and resolve design, manufacturing, and field issues in downhole assemblies.
- Perform structural, fluid, erosion, and thread calculations, including GD&T and stack-up analysis.
- Review and approve concessions, materials, and alternate design proposals.
- Develop rework / repair plans and coordinate testing for new or modified designs.
- Update BOMs and maintain design data within the PDM system.
