Process Engineer

The role is divided into two broad workstreams-

Capital project execution

• Lead small capital projects (less than $100K) from ideation to commissioning.
• As part of the above, manage stakeholder communication, schedule, budget and risks.
• Ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards and HSE standards.

Continuous improvement

• Discuss chronic issues with the team to get a deep understanding, analyze data, develop, and execute processes to improve safety, quality, and productivity of our manufacturing operations.
• Develop processes and specifications to support the manufacturing of new products or to improve existing product lines.
• Assist in troubleshooting the production process to eliminate production losses and down time due to contamination, equipment malfunction and human error.
• Facilitate continuous improvement events resulting in employee skill and knowledge development and KPI performance improvements.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial or similar)
• 10+ Years in a project engineering or improvement role with prior experience and demonstrated proficiency leading events utilizing established process improvement methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Food, consumer goods, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Experience with packaging equipment, e.g., baggers and palletizers preferred, but not required

The typical hiring range for this role is $91404 - $154009 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
