Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Title : Payment Posting

Premier Medical Resources is looking for a Payment Posting to join the team. The Payment Posting incumbent is responsible for overseeing operations in connection with accounts receivable and duties associated with full cycle processing of Accounts Recovery including collections, posting payments, and reconciling payment collections with patients billing statements.

Essential Functions :

• Answers telephone and deals with inquiries
• Responds and complies to requests for information including sending faxes and e-mails
• Reconciles and coordinates with the billing team for all incoming payments according to the patients explanation of benefits (EOB) and contractual payments and adjustments
• Follows up with pending / outstanding incoming payments
• Reviews incoming mail, captures information, and forwards to posting team
• Prepares payment for deposit
• Collects and organizes medical records payments
• Updates information and scans into database
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of tasks and projects
• Reports statistics as required
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
